Now that I've been working at my 9 - 5 job, I no longer teach. However, here's some of my prior teaching experiences (both at the college level and in corporate training):
- Maryland Institute, College of Art, Instructor,
Computer Graphics, 1989-1998
- Taught web design course. Also taught beginning,
intermediate, and advanced classes in paint, illustration, and desktop
publishing programs.
- Team taught "Image & Technology" course to
undergraduate Visual Communications majors with photography and
typography instructors
- Helped develop curriculum,
hardware/software acquisition and technology development
policies.
- Maryland Institute, College of Art, Coordinator of
Graduate Photography, 1985-1988
- Organized all
aspects of student's graduate school
experience:
- Curriculum development, recruitment,
advising, and preparation for thesis papers and
exhibitions.
- Taught graduate level seminars on
contemporary photography and art.
- Developed visiting
artists programs which brought internationally recognized artists and
critics to share their work and interact with our
students.
- Organized and evaluated college self-study as a
member of the Re-accreditation Steering
Committee
- Minneapolis College of Art and Design, Instructor, Computer Graphics, 1995-Present
- Taught web design as a distance learning course entirely via the Internet (not being taught Spring, 1997)
- Have also taught at art colleges and universities including: the
University of Maryland, the University of Washington, and Otis Art Institute, Los Angeles.
- Taught computer graphics to high school students at Carnegie
Mellon University's Pre-College Program during summers of
1991-1992

Have trained on the corporate level since 1992. Have taught courses in computer literacy, graphics, and
telecommunications (both PC and Mac) to corporations including the World Bank, the National Institutes of Health, and New Horizons Corporate Training Centers. Courses taught include:
- Basic (Intro, Intermediate and Advanced on both Mac and
Windows)
- Word Processing (Microsoft Word and WordPerfect)
- Desktop Publishing (QuarkXpress and Pagemaker)
- Paint and Illustration (Photoshop, Painter, Freehand,
Illustrator)
- Spreadsheet (Excel)
- Presentation (Persuasion)
- Telecommunications (All-in-One)
